TIME OF MY LIFE

Photobucket

I had the time of my life on 14 January 2010. The wait was finally over. After 5 years of being a huge fan of Green Day, I finally managed to see Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool upclose and hearing them singing live. The gig was FCUKING AWESOME! No doubt about it. 128 + 3 bucks worth of money!

Photos from yesterday. Credits to hitopox. Do you know that Green Day sang a total of 30 songs yesterday? Tell me which band will perform for 2 and a half hours and sing 30 songs? Definitely one-of-a-kind band.

Another reasons to proof that is their song Jesus Of Suburbia. It's my fav song from American Idiot cause it's not just another song. There's no verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge [song] structure and it's freaking 9 minutes long. I was really excited when they sang Jesus Of Suburbia. I was practically screaming-along, not singing-along. Here's the video I recorded. Please ignore my idiotic voice in the background and sorry for the poor quality.

One lucky fanatic fan was invited to come up and sing the whole song of Longview. He has a cool green mohawk hair. Fanatic much. After singing, Billie asked him to jump down the stage and body surf. Cool shit. Here's the video:

There are many stuffs I like about the gig. It felt so surreal to be surrounded by all Green Day fans. I wish I had many friends who is a fan of Green Day. When the first song was played which is 21st Century Breakdown, the barricade at Pen A fell. They had to stop performing just to fix the barricade. Well, I know how the barricade fell. People started pushing forward when they started performing. Fckuing irritating. Ruined my start of the gig. But Billie was so cool to entertain the crowd for that period. "We gonna play all night loooong tonight. We gonna do it safely." Hehe.

THIS IS MY FAV VIDEO OF ALL! Wake Me Up When September Ends and Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life). I can just watch this video over and over again. When he lets us sing the part 'For what's its worth, it was worth all the while.', that was definitely time of my life, man. So surreal. Skip all the way to 4:03 to hear that part. Here's my video:

For what it's worth it was worth all the while.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

Yes, dearly beloved. I certainly had the time of my life with you yesterday.
